Effective Date of Storage Payment
The payment for storage services will commence as soon as the first drop of petroleum product is injected into the designated tank. This ensures that clients are only charged for the actual use of the storage facilities.
Refund Eligibility
Clients are entitled to a refund if the allocated storage tanks remain unused, meaning they are “clean and empty” and no petroleum product has been injected.
Refund Request Procedure
- Initiating a Refund Request: Clients must formally request a refund by contacting our customer support team. This can be done via our online portal, by phone, or through email.
- Verification Process: Upon receiving the refund request, Maatschap Europoort Terminal will verify the status of the allocated tanks to confirm they have not been used. This may involve reviewing storage records and conducting a physical inspection if necessary.
- Processing the Refund: Once verification is complete and the unused status is confirmed, Maatschap Europoort Terminal will process the refund promptly. The refund will be issued to the original payment method or another agreed-upon method.
- Timeline for Refund: Refunds will be processed within 30 days from the date of the verified request. Clients will be notified once the refund has been completed.
Terms and Conditions
- Partial Usage: If the storage tanks have been partially used, the refund will be calculated based on the unused portion of the storage capacity. Clients will only be charged for the used capacity.
- Contractual Obligations: Any minimum storage periods or contractual obligations specified in the service agreement must be adhered to. Refunds will be subject to these terms.
- Administrative Fees: An administrative fee may be applied to process the refund request. This fee will be clearly communicated to clients during the refund request process.
